Cheki.co.ke is Kenya’s trusted online vehicle marketplace where individuals and dealers can list, browse, and connect to buy or sell vehicles safely and conveniently.

No. Cheki.co.ke is not a dealership. We do not own, buy, or sell vehicles. We only provide the platform for buyers and sellers to connect.

Selling a Vehicle

Click on the “Sell A Car” button, register an account (if you haven’t), and fill out the car listing form. Upload clear photos, enter accurate details, and submit.

We offer both free and premium listing options. Premium plans may include features like visibility boosts or highlighting.

Yes. Individuals can post a limited number of free ads. Dealers or businesses can subscribe to packages that allow multiple listings.

Yes. Log in to your account, go to My Listings, and you can edit or remove any of your ads.

Buying a Vehicle

Each vehicle listing includes a contact form and/or phone number. You can also send a direct message from your user dashboard.

No. We do not inspect vehicles directly unless it’s a paid inspection service. We strongly recommend physical inspection before making any payment.

Yes. All pricing is set by individual sellers or dealers. You may negotiate directly with them.

Payments & Pricing

We accept payments via M-Pesa, Pesapal, and PayPal — securely integrated within the site.

No. Cheki does not charge any fee for browsing or contacting sellers. Any price you pay is negotiated directly with the vehicle seller.

All premium listing purchases are non-refundable, except in the case of duplicate payments or technical errors. Contact support for assistance.

Accounts & Profile

You can browse listings without an account, but you’ll need one to post a car, contact sellers, or save favorite listings.

Click on Register, fill in your name, email, and password, or use Google/social login (if enabled). A confirmation email will be sent.

Click “Forgot Password?” on the login page. You’ll receive a link via email to reset your password.

Security & Trust

  • Always meet sellers in public places
  • Verify ownership documents (logbook, ID, NTSA records)
  • Do not send money before seeing the vehicle
  • Use caution with deals that sound too good to be true

Report suspicious listings or users immediately via the “Report Listing” button or email us at [email protected].

Technical

Ensure your image size is under the limit and in JPG or PNG format. Clear your browser cache or try a different browser. If the issue persists, contact our support.

Try refreshing the page, using a modern browser like Chrome, or switching devices. If the problem continues, report it to us with a screenshot.
